I think the concept has a lot of potential. The domes themselves are beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, making for a unique glamping experience. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The photos focus on the beautiful waterfront views but don't really show that the property is located right beside a busy highway, gas station, and Tim Hortons. Inside the dome, privacy could definitely be improved. There are curtains for the large front window, but none for the completely glass entry door. If you're staying with family or friends, there is also nowhere to change clothes privately unless you do so in front of your guests. A simple privacy screen or curtain would make a big difference. The shared washrooms are modern and beautifully finished, but currently there are only two single bathrooms (each with a shower and toilet) serving all of the domes. We understand you are renovating additional facilities, which should help significantly once completed. However, during our stay the bathrooms weren't being cleaned often enough for the amount of use they were getting, so they quickly became wet and messy. we also struggled to use one as they were always occupied. The other issue was with the towels. We were informed towels were available in the bathrooms however they were not. They also had hand towels in there which were not sanitary since they were being used by multiple people. I'm sure one all the renovations are completed it will be great.

Nice location and functional property. AC seemed not to work in our unit so it was a hot night. Furnishings, towels and beds were a bit tired, and the bedroom had a slightly funky smell. But decent value and stay was pleasant overall.

Hotel is very old and musty smelling, the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had half a pot of leftover coffee from the previous guest.

Our family of 5 enjoyed MacPherson house immensely! It was clean and spacious. We were able to look on site but we opted for the restaurant on property which was Brillant. We will be back.
